07:58 pm - Moving On: In the beginning
Title: In the beginning
Pairing: Peter/Lily
Rating: PG
Wordcount: 100
Prompt: Moving on.

Notes: New here…waves to all…

Lily liked Peter Pettigrew. From the first day when he’d dangled a worm in her face to the one when he’d made one grow legs and dance.

That’d been her 12th birthday, and along with the slobbery kiss she got something else. Enlightenment, knowledge, coming to her senses. Call it what you will, she suddenly realised that Peter was, at best not popular.

She’d felt a little sorry as she dealt him a little dismissive smile and turned her back on him, but the grin from James Potter made her feel better.

Much later of course, she very sorry indeed.

Title: Working Title
Characters: Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs
Word Count: 100 words
Challenge: Pirates
A/N: The four decide on the best name for their grandest invention

“The map is finished. All we need now is the name,” James announced, brandishing the piece of parchment.

“A map doesn’t need a name,” Sirius said, looking quite bored. “What map do you know of has a specific name?”

“The London Underground Map,” Remus said plainly. “But I hardly think we should call the map ‘Hogwarts Map’. Much too traditional.”

“We could call it Pettigrew’s Pirate map,” Peter offered, his face hopeful.

Moony, Padfoot, and Prongs looked at Wormtail for a brief moment before collapsing into a fit of laughter. Peter paused before joining in. It was a ridiculous name.

01:47 pm - Prophetic Lunatic
Title: Prophetic Lunatic
Word count: 100
Character: Peter
Challenge: Vampire
A/N: A Malkavian is a vampire clan from the games "Vampire: The Masquerade". They are completely insane, yet their insanity ends up giving them insight on the person they are talking to. It is difficult for a Malkavian to be understood and any useful information they spout off is quickly brushed away as Lunacy.

Malkavians. Peter read that they were crazy; vampires whose brains were afflicted from the moment they turned. He shouldn’t trust them, but there was something about the woman’s words that made the boy lie awake at night, shivering despite the warm blankets.

“Three blind mice. See how they run when a fourth turns up with a carving knife. Beware the serpent for its bite will strike the stag and the flower. Old mother Hubbard locked her dog in the cupboard for twelve long years. The brother of Rome will bear the burden.”

He put the words from his mind.

09:08 am - Drabble: Werewolves
Title: The Scariest Halloween
Rating: PG
Wordcount: 100
Theme: Werewolves
Summary: The first time Peter sees Moony.

The first time that Peter sees Moony is in October, and the moon is round and yellow over the mountaintops. Peter is small and trembling, unfamiliar whiskers twitching and small, funny ears flattened back on his head. He isn’t used to being a rat yet. Moony is giant, all teeth and claws and glowing golden eyes. The werewolf bursts out of the door, like a monster in a fairytale. Peter can’t think of this thing as Remus. The powerful jaws snap shut right before his face. The werewolf’s breath smells like rancid death. It’s the scariest Halloween of Peter’s life.
