Title: Pumpkin Eater
Word Count: 100
Character: Wormtail
Challenge: Pumpkin
A/N: I tried something a bit different. I'm not sure if the drabble really works but I'll put it up for criticism. I think it's the last line that makes me feel it's a bit cheesy. But hey, even the best horror flicks are cheese so maybe it works for Halloween.

Peter Peter, Pumpkin Eater
Had a wife and couldn’t keep her
He put her in a pumpkin shell
And there he kept her very well

Wormtail stared in horror at the parchment he had found tacked to the doorway. Blood was splashed on the walls. He followed the trail of bloody footprints up the steps and fell to his knees at the gruesome sight. Another note lay on the remains of the body.

Peter Peter, The Death Eater
Had a wife and refused to leave her
We found her in the pumpkin shell
And now she waits for him in hell

06:04 pm - Pumpkin Drabble
Title: Pumpkin Juice
Author: theladyfeylene
Pairing: Remus/Peter
Rating: PG
Summary: October makes Peter think of lots of things.

All along the streets of Hogsmeade red and gold leaves littered the ground. They made Peter think of James and Sirius, bright and vibrant and full of colour. When the wind picked up the leaves would leap and dive around Peter, bringing to his mind images of brooms and Quidditch robes. Further along, down beyond the houses and stores, the Halloween pumpkins out in the field were round, fat and ready to burst. He could imagine them carved and cut into frightful visages for the holiday. Pumpkins made him think of Remus, because Remus’ mouth always tasted of pumpkin juice.

Title: Monologueing
Word Count: 100
Characters: Harry, Voldemort, Wormtail
Challenge: Redemption
A/N: A little humor straight from "The Incredibles".

Harry looked up in terror.

“For years I have come after you only to have you thwart me. It seems as if your luck has run out. Your defeat is inevitable. Listen. Can you hear that? It is the sound of hundreds of voices crying out over the death of their beloved hero. You have met your end. How fitting that it would be at the house of your father-”

Avada Kedavra!

A green jet of light struck Voldemort. Harry stared at the figure that had muttered the curse.

Wormtail grinned.

“I had to do it. He was monologueing. ”

A/N2: Once again, the longer version is much more sillier and effective in my opinion. You can decide for yourself.

Monologue-ing: Extended VersionCollapse )

I know there's a lot to be done with that. :D

Also, how do we feel about having October a Halloween-centric drabble month? Each challenge will be focused on some Halloween aspect, and hopefully the drabbles will be, too!

Title: Birthday Wishes
Characters: Peter, James, Remus, Sirius
Word Count: 100
Challenge: Wishful Thinking

It was a classroom assignment in charms their first day of their fourth year. They had been discussing wishes.

“I wished for a Cleansweep once,” James said.

Sirius smirked. “You should have wished for brains.”

James clobbered Sirius. Remus sighed. Peter looked down, worried.

“What’s the matter?” Remus said.

“I wished for something once, but it’s really silly now.”

“Go on, Petey, what did you wish for?” said James. Peter turned red and whispered- “Love.”

The three boys were silent for a moment before they burst into peals of laughter. Peter joined in. It was only wishful thinking after all.

A/N: The original drabble was 160, but I liked it as the final 100 word cut got a bit choppy. So here it is, just because:

Title: Not Proud
Characters: Peter, James, Lily
Words: 100
Challenge: First Time
A/N: Words are paraphrased from The Green Mile. Tom Hanks' character contemplates the morality of killing John Coffey

“I’ve done a lot of things in my life that I’m not proud of, but this is the first time I’m scared of going to hell.”

Peter looked up with sorrow at James’ face. James patted Peter, his Wormtail, on the head. Peter’s hand was shaking as he reached for Lily’s.

“When they ask me why I betrayed you, what am I supposed to say? That it was my job?”

Lily knelt down and hugged him. They never said a word. They never did say a word no matter how the dreams changed. Lily and James never spoke. Peter sobbed.

03:26 pm - First Time Challenge
Title: First Time
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Peter/Random Woman
Wordcount: 100
Summary: Peter's first time is less than great.

He couldn’t do it with the lights on. He turned them off immediately, which was probably a mistake. He tripped as he made his way to the bed, cracking his knee on the nightstand. He couldn’t get her blouse undone, and his fingers caught in the waistband of her skirt. Their noses bumped, he bit her lip when he kissed her, and she yelped in pain far more than she yelped in pleasure. He was finished far too soon, and she left as soon as they were done.

Sirius told him not to worry. No one’s first time was perfect.
